When you import data, the following steps are possible:
- Selection of the import interface
- Selection of the file to be imported
- Selection of advanced import settings
- Output of notices and identified import errors if applicable
- Selection of import settings
Starting the Import Process
The import process is done through an Import Wizard. Once the import is completed. This cannot be undone.
- Either the Administration or Engineering perspective is displayed.
- Click the following symbol:
- In the Data channel field, select an import interface. The following import interfaces are available:
- Graphics data. For more information refer to: Importing Graphics.
- Detector data. For more information refer to: Importing the Data Points File.
- User data. For more information refer to: Creating and Importing Users and User Groups.
- Audio file. For more information refer to: Audio File Import.
- License file. For more information refer to: License Import.
- Click Next.
- Select a source file.
- Click Next.
- Enter the advanced import settings. For more information refer to: Advanced Import Settings.
- Any changes made in the settings are retained for subsequent data imports.
- Click Next.
- Any information and import errors found are displayed.
- Decide whether or not to continue with the data import based on the notices and errors found.
- Enter the import settings. For more information refer to: Import Settings.
- Click Finish.
