In the Events/Messages perspective, messages are displayed in a list. In the engineering mode, you can delete messages regardless of their state. This is useful during testing the subsystem connections. In the runtime mode, you cannot delete messages.
The layout of this perspective consists of the following elements:
- The Messages (Filter) Tree displays the filters for the Message List view.
- The System States (Filter) Tree displays the filters for the System State List view.
- The Scheduled Events (Filter) Tree displays the filters for the Scheduled Event view.
- The Events (Filter) Tree displays the filters for the Event List view.
- The Message List View displays the messages.
- The System State List View displays the state of the connected systems.
- The Scheduled Events View displays the scheduled events.
- The Event List View displays the events.
Opening the Perspective
- In the toolbar, click the following symbol:
- Select the Events/Messages perspective.
