By default, object properties cannot be edited in runtime client.

To make object properties editable in runtime client, you have the following options:

  • In engineering client you can change the preference and activate the change in runtime client.
  • In runtime client you can change the preference with administrator rights. Note that the change might be overwritten with the next activation, if the preference has another value in engineering client.
  1. In the menu bar, select Window > Preferences.
  1. Select Siveillance Control > Views > Object Properties.
  1. To enable editability of object properties in runtime client, mark the Object Properties editable in Runtime check box.
  1. If the preference was changed in engineering client, activate the change on the runtime client. For more information, refer to: Activating Data.
  • Object properties can be edited in the Object Properties view, after a new selection of an object.
