The following reasons are possible for VMS disconnection:
- There is a temporary network disconnecton in VMS.
- There is a downtime for VMS Server.
If the VMS connection is interrupted, Siveillance Control tries to restore the connection automatically for every 60 seconds, until the VMS connection is established.
To establish a connection with VMS manually, perform the following steps:
- In the System Tree, right-click the VMS connection and select Disconnect.
- Wait until the previous automatic re-connection attempt stops or until the Connect option gets enabled.
- Right-click the VMS connection and select Connect.
