You can modify print settings for the printout of access routes plans. They enable you to highlight the detector that triggered an alarm on the access route plan. Keep in mind that highlighting is only applied when the access route plan is printed based on an active alarm message from a corresponding detector. If the access route plan is printed on the engineering client via a detector group, no particular detector of the detector group is identified as an active detector and as a result all detectors are displayed and visible in the same way on printouts of the access route plan.
- In the menu bar, select Window > Preferences.
- Select Siveillance Control > Printing.
- In the Access Route Plan section, you can specify the following parameters:
- Highlight Active Detector in Graphic: Mark the check box to highlight the detector in the graphic that triggered an alarm. A circle surrounding the corresponding detector will be displayed in a semi-transparent color. Otherwise, keep the default settings.
- Highlight Color: Select the color of the circle surrounding the detector which is used to highlight it.
- Line Width (Pixel): Define the pixel value for the line width of the circle surrounding the highlighted detector.
- Show Active Detector Only: Mark the check box to highlight only the detector on the printout of the access route plan that triggered an alarm. All other detectors belonging to the same detector group will be invisible. Additionally, you can combine this setting and highlight the active detector in the graphic. To highlight the icon of the active detector, refer to: Configuring Access Route Plan Elements.
- In the General section, you can specify the following parameters:
- Attachments Directory: Specify the path to store the printouts. To verify if the directory exists, click Validate.
- Use Exact Fonts: Unmark the check box to use fonts on the printout of the access route plan that are similar but not exactly the same as the fonts on the screen. This results in differences between the screen and printout content. However, this helps to significantly reduce the print size and printing time. Otherwise, keep the default settings. As a result, both screen and print content are identical in terms of text rendering and layout.
- Click OK.
