From the Message List view, you can print access route plans and alarm messages.
From the Event List view, you can print events.
Printing Events
- The Events/Messages perspective is displayed.
- The printer is not in fault state.
- In the Event List view, right-click an event and select Print Event.
- Select a printer.
- If you want to use a printer while it is switched off, you can first switch it on. After your printout is finished you can switch off the printer using the context menu.
- To switch on a printer, right-click it and select Switch on.
- To switch off a printer, right-click it and select Switch off.
- Decide on the number of copies for the printout and click Print.
- If you have configured a default printer, the printout is printed out directly with its attachment(s). It contains all defined template pages (such as text information, graphics sequences) and additionally all attached PDF files in the given order of the graphics tree.
- If you have configured CUPS-PDF as a printer, the printout with the same content is stored on the server’s file system (usually under /var/spool/cups-pdf/ANONYMOUS).
Printing Alarm Messages or Access Route Plans
The printout option Access route plan is only available for messages from a detector belonging to a detector group. Additional information on how to highlight an active detector on the access route printout, refer to: Configuring Print Settings and Configuring Access Route Plan Elements.
- The Events/Messages perspective is displayed.
- The printer is not in fault state.
- In the Message List view, right-click a message and select Print.
- Select a printer.
- Decide on the number of copies for the printout.
- Choose the printout type. You have the following options:
- To print the alarm message, select Alarm in the Printout Type drop-down list.
- To print the access route plan, select Access route plan in the Printout Type drop-down list.
- Click Print.
