Importing the Subsystem Data Points File

This information applies to the following subsystems:

D100, FS20, IC Transliner, SIGMASYS and SPC.

The subsystem data points file contains all relevant data points and information about the subsystem. You have to import this file after the subsystem is fully configured onsite. Also, the file needs to be imported again each time a relevant change is made in the subsystem, for example if devices are deleted or added.

  • The name of the XML file does not contain spaces or umlauts.
  1. In the navigation pane, select the site and afterwards the gateway that you have created.
  1. Select the respective Cu-Handler unit.
  1. Complete the following steps:
  • Click import in the Configuration Files tree.
  • Select the Upload tab.
  • Click Browse.
  • Select the subsystem data points file.
  • Click Open.
  • Click Upload.
  • If the license file already exists, decide whether you want to overwrite the already existing file or not.
  • Click Close.
  • Click Submit.
  1. Continue with the upload of the gateway configuration. For more information refer to: Uploading the Gateway Configuration.

Importing the SiPass Certificates

You can automatically import the certificates of SiPass subsystem that is connected over a Cu-handler unit.

  • The name of the certificate file does not contain spaces or umlauts.
  • The sipassserver certificate is available.
  1. Select the site and afterwards the gateway that you have created.
  1. Select the respective Cu-Handler unit.
  1. In the Required or non-default attributes tab, click and edit the sipassintegratedmanagementstationapiurl attribute:
  • In The Certificate File Name field, the sipassserver is uploaded automatically. You can rename the certificate if required.

If the SiPassHRAPI is installed in a different machine with a different certificate of SiPass MSAPI, then you need to import the hrapiserver certificate into the Cu-handler unit using sipasshrapiresserviceurl attribute.

  1. Click Get Certificate.
  1. Click OK.
  • You can view the uploaded certificate inside the etc folder in the Configuration Files tree.
  1. Continue with the upload of the gateway configuration. For more information refer to: Uploading the Gateway Configuration.

Importing the Desigo CC Certificate

You can automatically import the certificates of Desigo CC that is connected over a Cu-Handler unit.

  • The name of the certificate file does not contain spaces or umlauts.
  • The desigoccserver certificate is available.
  1. Select the site and afterwards the gateway that you have created.
  1. Click the DESIGOCC unit.
  1. In the Required or non-default attributes tab, click and edit the desigoccwebapi attribute.
  • In the Certificate File Name field, the name of the certificate is updated automatically. You can rename the certificate if required.
  1. Click Get Certificate.
  1. Click OK.
  • You can view the uploaded certificate inside the etc folder in the Configuration Files tree.
  1. Continue with the upload of gateway configuration. For more information refer to: Uploading the Gateway Configuration.
