This information applies to the FS20 and Siveillance Intrusion subsystems.

After enabling configuration change messages, if you start an OIS component from the management station, when there is a change in the VU data points list of the corresponding subsystem, then the management station receives a configuration change message VU DP file changed for the data point CONFCH_[VU Unit Name] or CONFCH_[VU Unit Name]_[Device Name] to inform the management station user about the change in the data points list. Thereafter, this message is received every time an OIS component is started, even if there is no further change in the data points list.

To prevent management station users from receiving the configuration change messages, perform the following steps:

  1. In the Message List view, right click the message VU DP file changed that has been sent for the data point CONFCH_[VU Unit Name] or CONFCH_[VU Unit Name]_[Device Name].
  1. Select Perform Command > Reset.
  • If you start the OIS component again, the configuration change message does not appear unless you have any changes in the VU data points list.
NOTICE

If the SiB-X file of the FS20 subsystem is different from the SiB-X file of OIS, then the management station receives a configuration change message for the data point [Cu-Handler Unit Name]/[Device Number of FS20 panel]. The configuration change message cannot be reset until the corrected SiB-X file is uploaded into OIS.
