Mounting Debian ISO File in VMware vSphere/ESXi (Hypervisor Type 1) - Configuration - P54592-P101-A1 - P54592-P118-A1

The following description is based on the example of the VSphere Client version 6.7.0.200000.

1. Upload the first DVD in the datastore of the ESXi server to install Debian.

2. Log in to the ESXi server with the vSphere client.

3. Select the server.

4. Select Configuration > Hardware > Storage > local_datastore.

5. Right-click local_datastore and select Browse.

6. Create a new folder (1).

7. Select Upload Files to Datastore (2) and load the Debian ISO into this folder.

8. Mount the ISO in the DVD drive of the virtual machine.

9. Once the first installation is complete, load the remaining files for the Siveillance Control installation on the Debian server or the VMware Debian server using WinSCP.
