1. Select Configuration > Connections (legacy).
  • All systems that have been configured in Security Manager are displayed in the Connections pane.
  1. Click Add to create a new connection to the access control system.
  • The section Create connection opens.
  1. Enter the name, the description (optional) and select SIPORT from the drop-down list.
  1. Under Features, select the features that are required for import and export between both systems:
  • Export identities: The identities data created in Security Manager will be exported to SIPORT Access.
  • Import identities: The data created in SIPORT Access will be imported to Security Manager under Identities.

  • Import privileges: The Profiles created in SIPORT Access will be imported to Security Manager under Privileges.
  • Export assigned privileges: The privileges assigned to identities in Security Manager will be exported to SIPORT under Access profiles that have the Type as STD.
  • Import assigned privileges: The Access profiles with the Type as STD created in SIPORT will be imported to Security Manager under Identities.
  • Export cloud privileges: The mobile privileges created in Security Manager will be exported to SIPORT under Access profiles that have the Type as ACM.

Connection Status

The following status can be displayed:

  • Initial: This status is displayed after the system is added to Security Manager.
  • Operational: This status is displayed, if SIPORT and SIPORT Sync Agent are connected to Security Manager.
  • Disconnected: This status is displayed, if the SIPORT or SIPORT Sync Agent are disconnected from Security Manager.
