With the Siveillance Access Mobile app (Mobile app) a user can use the smartphone as a virtual credential to open doors. You can select the mode according to the customer security policy, which is applied to the Mobile app on each phone.

NOTICE

The modes (option 1 to 5) contain the different security levels, from no restriction (Use user setting from the app) to high. With options 2 to 5, the user settings in the Mobile app will be overwritten.

  • The Configuration > System Settings pane is displayed.
  1. Under Settings, click on Access Mobile App.
  1. Click Edit to update the default configuration of Mobile app.
  1. Select the mode from the App Usage Mode drop-down list:
  • Use user setting from the app: The user can define and change the settings in the Mobile app.
  • Work in background, even if the phone is locked: If the Mobile app runs in the background, the user can open the door, even if the phone is in locked state. This is the lowest security level.
  • Work in background, even if the phone is unlocked: If the Mobile app runs in the background, the user can open the door, only if the phone is unlocked.
  • Work only with app in foreground: Only if the Mobile app runs in the foreground, the user can open the door.
  • Work only when Virtual Credential is tapped: Only if the Mobile app runs in foreground and the user taps the virtual credential option, the user can open the door. This is the highest security level.
  1. Select any one of the custom fields such as firstName, lastName, email, description, departmentid and location from First Custom Field drop-down list for creating the identity badge. NOTICE! First name of the identity displays based on this selection in the Identify badge. Identify badge is a soft identity displaying in Mobile App to open the door.
  1. Select any one of the custom fields such as firstName, lastName, email, description, departmentid and location from Second Custom Field drop-down list for creating the identity badge. NOTICE! Second name of the identity displays based on this selection in the Identify badge.
  1. In Tenant Logo, click Change logo and choose a logo from the local folder to upload the logo in the Mobile app.
  • To change the logo again, use the same Change logo option, hence the latest logo will get uploaded.
  • To delete the logo, click Delete button.
  1. Mark the Show Tenant Name checkbox to display the tenant name in the Mobile app.
  1. Click Save.
