With the Siveillance Access Mobile app (Mobile app), a user can use the smartphone as a virtual credential to open doors. You can select the mode according to the customer security policy, which is applied to the Mobile app on each phone.
NOTICE
The modes (option 1 to 5) contain the different security levels, from no restriction (Use user setting from the app) to high. With options 2 to 5, the user settings in the Mobile app will be overwritten.
- In vertical navigation, open Configuration > System settings.
- Under Settings, select Access Mobile app.
- Click Edit to update the default configuration of Mobile app.
- Select the mode from the Virtual credential access mode drop-down list:
- Use app's settings: The user can define and change the settings in the Mobile app.
- Always, even when smartphone is locked: If the Mobile app runs in the background, the user can open the door, even if the phone is in locked state. This is the lowest security level.
- Smartphone needs to be unlocked: If the Mobile app runs in the background, the user can open the door, only if the phone is unlocked.
- App needs to be in the foreground: Only if the Mobile app runs in the foreground, the user can open the door.
- Requires tap on virtual credential: Only if the Mobile app runs in foreground and the user taps the virtual credential option, the user can open the door. This is the highest security level.
- Select any one of the custom fields such as firstName, lastName, email, description, departmentId and location from Custom field 1 drop-down list for creating the Virtual ID card.
- Select any one of the custom fields such as firstName, lastName, email, description, departmentId and location from Custom field 2 drop-down list for creating the Virtual ID card.
- Click Save.
