After installing SiPass integrated Sync Agent, configure the SiPass Server Hostname and HR API Web Service Port number of SiPass integrated RESTful HR API to connect with SiPass integrated service.
- Go to Start menu, search SiPass integrated Sync Agent configuration and open the application.
- The user chosen while installing SiPass integrated Sync Agent is displayed in the User Account field automatically.
- Enter the same Password that was provided while installing SiPass integrated Sync Agent.
- Click Next.
- The SiPass integrated Configuration dialog displays.
- SiPass Server Hostname: Enter the full computer name in the field, which was used during SiPass integrated installation. IP address support is not provided.
- HR API Web Service Port: By default, the port in which the SiPass integrated RESTful HR API is running is 8745 and displays in read-only mode. You can modify the port by clicking the Edit button.
- Under the Management Station API Web Service section, select the checkbox and enter the following:
- Select the Select for entering remote Management Station Web Service checkbox if the Management Station API Web Service is hosted in a remote computer.
- Hostname: Enter the full computer name in the field, which was used during SiPass integrated installation.
- Web Service Port: By default, the Web Service Port in which the SiPass integrated RESTful Management Station API is running is 8744. You can also edit the port using the Edit button.
- Under the Operator Credential section, enter the following to access the SiPass integrated system:
- SiPass Operator Name: By clicking on the SiPass Operator Name field, a pop-up message appears as shown below. Read the message to ensure that the permissions are available and then click Ok. Now you can enter or edit the dedicated name. The name must be case-sensitive.
- SiPass Operator Password: Enter the dedicated password. If the SiPass integrated Operational Client password is changed, then you must update the same password in the field. For more information, see: Troubleshooting.
- Under the External Event Queue (RabbitMQ) section, edit the following:
- Port: By default, the port in which the RabbitMQ is running is 8756. You can modify the port by clicking the Edit button.
- Test Connection: Click on the Test Connection button, to verify the RabbitMQ connection.
- If RabbitMQ is connected, the connection status displays as Connection successfully verified.
- If credentials are incorrect, the connection status displays as SiPass operator name or password is incorrect.
- If port number is incorrect, the connection status displays as Invalid RabbitMQ Port or Hostname or Service is unavailable. Try Again!
- Click Save.
- A confirmation message indicating that the SiPass integrated Sync Agent configuration has been saved is displayed.
- Click OK.
- Configuring the SiPass integrated Sync Agent is complete.
If anyone of the services like SiPass integrated RESTful HR API or SiPass integrated RESTful Management Station API is not available, then SiPass integrated Sync Agent displays the status as Disconnected in the Connections and holds all the transactions between SiPass integrated and Security Manager.
Apart from the SiPass integrated RESTful Management Station API, if other services are unavailable, the status remains Disconnected in the Connections, the alarms and the alarm acknowledgement will be imported from SiPass integrated to Security Manager.
