To change the operating mode for an offline or an online lock, the lock needs to be reset first with the Salto Nebula app. See Resetting locks and gateway using SALTO Nebula app. After changing the operating mode, the lock must be re-commissioned. See Commissioning locks and gateway using SALTO Nebula app.
Locks
Consider the following:
- You cannot edit a SALTO cloud-based lock, if the lock is commissioned or unknown.
- Always the lock ID must be unique.
Follow the below steps to edit the lock:
- In vertical navigation, open Configuration > Locks.
- Select the lock from the list that you want to edit.
- Select Edit and modify the required information.
- Select Save.
Gateways
You can only edit the gateway name. The other fields cannot be changed.
Follow the below steps to edit the gateway:
- In vertical navigation, open Configuration > Locks.
- Select the gateway from the list that you want to edit.
- Select Edit.
- In Gateway, change the name of the gateway.
- Select Save.
Now the gateway must be commissioned in the SALTO Nebula app. See Commissioning locks and gateway using SALTO Nebula app.
