Installing SiPass integrated Sync Agent - Engineering - P54510-P100-A1 - P54510-P101-A1 - P54510-P102-A1 - P54510-P103-A1 - P54510-P104-A1 - P54591-P100-A1

Perform the following steps to install SiPass integrated Sync Agent:

1. Download the Sync Agent bundle and extract the package into your computer from the SIOS portal (Siemens Industry Online Support) to start the installation process.

2. Double-click the SiPass integrated Sync Agent.exe file.

3. Click Next.

4. Review and accept the license agreement.

5. Click Next.

6. Select the installation path where you want to install SiPass integrated Sync Agent. The default path is C:\Program Files\SiPass integrated Sync Agent.

7. Click Next.

8. Enter the username and password for the windows service. User can be domain user or local user. For more information, see: Configuring the User Account for SiPass integrated Sync Agent and SiPass integrated Sync Agent - Cybersecurity Guidelines, Section Password Policy.

• The Installer validates the credentials of the specified user account.

9. Click Next.

10. Select the version number from the SiPass integrated version drop-down list.

11. Click Next.

12. Click Install.

• The installation process begins.

13. Wait until the installation completes.

14. Click Finish to complete the installation.

• After the installation is complete, a success message is displayed.

15. To verify the service status of the installed SiPass integrated Sync Agent, click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

• The Security Manager - SiPass integrated Sync Agent service starts automatically and displays the status as Running.
