Connect to the device over an Ethernet connection or the wireless Wi-Fi SVC port connection. Then, access the web interface using ABT Site or a standard web browser. You no longer need a serial USB cable to access the controller interface for commissioning or service tasks.

The device connection options for accessing the web interface or connecting with the ABT Site tool are shown in the Figures below.

Direct tool port Ethernet access, local device access only, using a web browser or ABT Site.
Direct Wi-Fi (SVC port) connection, local device access only, using a web browser or ABT Site.
Switched Ethernet ports, access to all devices, using a web browser or ABT Site.

The two-port switch does not have a static default IP address. The two-port switch uses link-local address auto-configuration, also known as automatic private IP addressing (APIPA) or auto-IP. Only ABT Site can connect to the two switch Ethernet ports right out of the box. The web UI can be accessed on these ports only after an IP address has been assigned to these ports.

You cannot access the web interface on the two-port switch before a load. ABT Site must be used to connect to and load the controller before accessing the web interface.

You can access the web interface before a load only on the WLAN default address for both the PXC4.A and the PXC7.A, or the individual third Ethernet "tool" port on the PXC7.A.
