Modules are created using the add new TXIO Peripheral Device Object template and require pre-configuration. New objects will automatically be given a name, description, and device instance number, but these properties can be modified. TX-I/O objects must have unique module addresses and names. Use this procedure to create a new module using the Templates application.

TX-I/O support is limited to C and D series modules.

  1. Click to open the add new TXIO Peripheral Device Object template's properties. All supported TX-I/O module types are listed in the drop-down menu.
  1. Configure the I/O address property.
  • The property will display as IO-1:M=?;. Replace ? with the TX-I/O module address number.
  • Click to save.
NOTE: If you do not configure this property, you will receive a configuration error.
