Installing N4 appliance for Using PPCL and Point Editors- With the N4 Appliance running, right-click the host and select Open Platform.
- Open Application Director and stop any stations that are currently running on the host.
- Exit Niagara N4.
- In the Niagara 4.8 console, navigate to the folder that contains InstallUpdateFiles.bat in the Siemens_N4_Appliance_3_00_100 folder.
- Type InstallUpdateFiles.bat and press Enter.
- Select the following at the prompts for copying and overriding old files:
- Yes for copying Siemens modules.
- No to the other two questions.
Install Siemens Update Files by running InstallUpdateFiles.bat.
