The station must have a valid BACnet Device Object Id that is unique on the BACnet network.
To avoid conflicts with other BACnet devices on the network, Object Id defaults to -1, which is an invalid value. If Object Id is left at -1, the station is not able to discover or communicate with devices on the BACnet network.
- You have connected to the Siemens N4 Appliance station using the admin account.
- In the Nav pane, expand Station > Config > Drivers > BacnetNetwork.
- Double-click Local Device to display the Property Sheet.
- In the Property Sheet, enter a unique Object Id in the range from 0 through 4194302. The Object Id must not be used by any other device on the BACnet network.
- Click Save to save the view.
