This section describes the process of upgrading devices integrated with Siemens N4 Appliance version 1.10 templates to new templates. The process is the same for supervisor (PC) and controller (JACE) stations.

To upgrade device templates, perform the following procedures:

1. Use the station’s Config/Services/TemplateService to perform the upgrade. Either double-click TemplateService or right-click TemplateService and select Views/AX Template Manager.

2. Devices installed with older template revisions should be marked Out of Date.
   a. Select templates to be updated and click Upgrade.
   b. Alternately, click Upgrade All Out Of Date. Then click Commit to upgrade the devices.

3. Restart the station after the upgrade procedure is complete.
