Only points that exist in the N4 database can be edited. Points added using the N4 PXC / TC point editor are automatically added to the N4 database. PXC / TC points not created using the N4 PXC / TC point editor must be added to the N4 database before they are editable. See Adding Points to the N4 Database.
Open the station, if necessary.
To modify an existing point in the N4 Database:
- In the Nav pane, expand Station > Config > Drivers > BacnetNetwork > [device] and then double-click Points.
- Double click on the desired point.
- The editor displays in a pop-up window.
- Make the necessary modifications and click Save.
- The points are rearranged under the navigation tree
After saving and editing binary point types, an error message will display and the point will need to be refreshed. To display the point, go to Nav > Points > double-click the point to refresh.
