The following sections describe the available types of installation. You must choose an installation type before starting the installation process, as the installation procedures will vary based on type.

Siemens N4 Appliance Installation Types
Installation Type	Description
New Installation - Supervisor	Covers installation of the Siemens N4 Appliance on a newly created N4 Supervisor (PC) station. See New Installation - Supervisor (PC) Station.
Upgrade - Supervisor	Covers upgrade of an N4 Supervisor station from Siemens N4 Appliance 1.10 to Siemens N4 Appliance 3.00. See Upgrade - Supervisor (PC) Station.
