Recommendations for Metric Users
NOTE:
The user account setting only applies when using a browser. When using Siemens Workbench, the user account setting is ignored, and the unit system is selected from the Tools menu, Options > General, Unit Conversion.
For Siemens N4 Appliance Revision 1.00.102 and later, all Siemens FLN devices must be configured for English units. The English-to-metric conversion is handled by the station.
Configuring a User Account to Display Metric Units when using a Browser
Siemens Workbench unit conversions are set from the Tools menu, Options > General, Unit Conversion.
- From the Nav pane, expand and select Station, UserService, [user name] (for example Siemens_Integrator).
- Right-click the user name and then select AX Property Sheet.
- The Property Sheet displays.
- In the Facets section, select Metric from the Unit Conversion drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
