Components profile - User Guide

The Components profile view opens on selecting on a component from the Components page.

2. • Edit: Opens the property fields for editing.
   • Clone: Opens the property fields to edit existing data to create a new type or create and clone a type.
   • Remove: Removes the component.
2. Properties: Lists the properties for a component including links to the associated type, view in Model viewer and associated building.

4. • Properties: Lists the properties associated with a component.
   • Attributes: Lists the attributes associated with the component. New attributes can be added. See Adding attribute data. Existing attribute data can be edited. See Editing attribute data. The changes to attribute data can be tracked. See Tracking the change history of attributes. Attributes can be removed.
   • Systems: Lists the systems assigned to a component.
   • Documents: Lists the documents associated with the component. Documents can be added, downloaded, or removed.
   • Impacted entities: View entities that are impacted. To add components as impacted entities, see Adding impacted entities.
   • Tasks: Lists the tasks for the component. Tasks (field issues and service requests) can be created and assigned to a component.
