A new Object info tag is created by creating an Object info template and adding the custom fields of user's choice to the template. If you want to add new custom fields instead of selecting from existing fields, see Adding new custom fields.

Creating an Object info tag for a site

An Object info template created in a site is available for use in all the locations within the site.

The display of object info is performance intensive and should be configured carefully.

Non-empty custom fields that are used in an object info tag should be configured consciously. If the number of components that contain such custom fields exceed 1000, the system enforces a limit for visualization.

The number of unique custom fields combined in all the object info templates should not exceed 10.

  • A role with permissions to create, edit and delete Object info templates is required.
  • A site is selected.
  1. In the left navigation pane, go to Settings > Template > Object info templates.
  1. Select Add.
  1. Enter a name for the template in the Name field.
  1. Enter a { in the Template field.
  1. Select the field names from the list of custom fields to add to the Template field.
  1. Select Save.
