Linking an object to a component - User Guide

In the Model viewer, the user can link selected objects to the components.

• A Model viewer is open.

• At least one object is available in the Model viewer interface.

• At least one component is created.

1. In the navigation toolbar, select (Cursor).

2. In the Model viewer interface, select any object.

• On the right pane, the This object is not linked to any components. Link to writing appears.

If you selected a wrong object and need to de-select it, press ESC.

3. On the right pane, select Link to.

• On the right pane, the Link to dialog opens, containing the list of available components.

4. Select the component from the list.

5. Confirm with Select.
