Configuring email/SMS notifications allows users to receive email or SMS notifications for data point event status changes.

For all subscription types below, the toggle button for email/SMS applies:

Notification is enabled.
Notification is disabled.

 

Depending on the event notifications you want to enable or disable, complete the steps below as needed:

All site data points

  • Data points have been added to your device.
  1. Go to Equipment.
  1. Toggle the Send email / SMS on events button to turn notifications on or off.

 

All data points in a device

  • Data points have been added to your device.
  1. Go to Equipment.
  1. Select the device.
  1. In the right detail pane, under Notification, toggle the Send email / SMS on events button to turn notifications on or off.

 

A data point on a device

  • Data points have been added to your device.
  1. Go to Equipment.
  1. Select the device.
  1. Select the data point.
  1. In the data point side panel, under Notification, toggle the Send email / SMS on events button to turn notifications on or off.
