This section provides instructions to work with documents.
Display Documents in Tile View
- You want to display the document tile icons in the Document Viewer.
- In System Browser, select Application View.
- Do one of the following:
- To display the tile icons of all the available documents, select Applications > Documents.
- To display only the tile icons of documents available for a specific subfolder, select Applications > Documents > […].
View a Document
- You want to display and view a document.
- System Browser is in Application View.
- In System Browser, the Documents folder or a subfolder is selected.
- Do one of the following:
- In System Browser, select the node that corresponds to the document you want view.
- In the Document Viewer, select the tile icon that corresponds to the document you want view.
- The content of the selected document that corresponds to a file or to a whitelisted website is displayed in the Document Viewer tab. A website that was not whitelisted displays in another tab.
View a Document from Related Items
- You selected a system object, and Related Items in the Contextual pane displays links to one or more document files related to that object.
- In Related Items, expand the Documents folder or subfolder, and select the item you want to open.
- If you selected a related item corresponding to a file or a to a whitelisted website, the relevant file or web page opens in the Document Viewer tab in the Comparison pane.
- If you selected a related item corresponding to a web page that was not whitelisted, this web page opens in another tab.
Search or Filter Documents
- In System Browser, select Application View > Documents folder or subfolder.
- The Document Viewer tab displays.
- In the Search box, enter the desired text, the Documents Viewer tab is filtered as you enter it.
- Press ENTER.
- The filtered document icons display.
