The central function overrides local room operation. The required operating mode in the room can be commanded again after successful central override.

Type and source of hazard

Multiple selection is possible on all switching functions as long as the sources are from the same object type.

 

Setup Filter for Central Functions

A filter can be created for central functions for:

  • CenOpLgt Lighting
  • CenOpShd Blinds
  • CenOpMode Operating mode

This simplifies the search for objects in System Browser.

  1. In System Browser, select Application View.
  1. Proceed as follows:
  • Select Filter .
  • Select Name.
  • Enter search a search string CenOpLgt, CenOPShd or CenOPMode.
  • Select Save .
  1. Enter a description for the filter, for example:
  • Central Function Lighting Control
  • Central Function Emergency Lighting
  • Central Function Operating mode control
  1. Select Save .
  • The filter is created for central functions.

 

Switching on Lighting

  1. In System Browser, select Application View.
  1. Select the predefined filter central lighting control.
  1. (Optional) (Select Applications > Logics > Central Functions > [Network name] > [Hierarchy level] > Light [Category] > [Central Lighting (CenOpLgt)].
  • The associated lighting objects are displayed in Central Function.
  1. Select the Properties tab.
  1. Select Basic .
  1. For:

Lighting manual on/off

  1. In the drop-down list, select the illuminance.
  1. Confirm .

Reset lighting to automatic

  1. Select .
  1. Select Auto and confirm with .

 

Controlling Blinds

  1. In System Browser, select Application View.
  1. Select the predefined filter central blinds control.
  1. (Optional) Select Applications > Logics > Central Functions > [Network name] > [Hierarchy name] > [Hierarchy level] > Blinds [Category] > [Central Blinds Control (CenOpShd)].
  • The associated blinds objects are displayed in Central Function.
  1. Select the Properties tab.
  1. Select Basic .
  1. For:

Set blinds height

  1. In the drop-down list, select the blinds height.
  1. Confirm .

Switch blinds and blinds angle to automatic

  1. Select .
  1. Select Auto and confirm .

Blinds can only be set if there are no faults displayed in columns State and Priority.

 

Changing Room Operating Mode

  1. In System Browser, select Application View.
  1. The predefined filter central operating mode control.
  1. (Optional) Select Applications > Logics > Central Functions > [Network name] > [Hierarchy level] > [Category] > [Central Operating Mode (CenOpMod)].
  • The associated operating mode objects are displayed in Central Function.
  1. Select the Properties tab.
  1. Select field Command user.
  1. In the drop-down list, select the operating mode.
  1. Confirm .

Reset operating mode to automatic

  1. Select .
  1. Select Auto and confirm .
