In every video or sequence view, you can carry out the following actions:
- Controlling camera recordings
- Controlling the camera itself in case of a PTZ camera
Controlling Camera Recordings
- The camera recording is displayed either in the video or sequence view.
- You have the following options to display the toolbar for camera recordings:
- In a vertical video view, hover the mouse briefly over the lower margin.
- In the sequence view, select the toolbar.
- You have the following functions to control the camera recording:
- To rewind the camera recording at four different speeds (x2, x4, x8, x16), click the following symbol:
- To pause the camera recording, click the following symbol:
- To wind forward the camera recording at four different speeds (x2, x4, x8, x16), click the following symbol:
- To switch to a live stream, click the following symbol:
Controlling PTZ Cameras with the Mouse
You can control PTZ cameras with the mouse.
- The video stream is displayed either in the video or sequence view.
- Position the cursor in the camera display.
- To change the camera viewing direction to a preset viewing direction, select a viewing direction under Preset.
- The PTZ camera pans to the selected video direction.
- To pan the camera, complete the following steps:
- Press and hold the left mouse button.
- Move the mouse.
- The camera pans in accordance with the mouse movement.
- To zoom the camera in, scroll the mouse wheel forward.
- To zoom the camera out, scroll the mouse wheel backwards.
