Navigating Within Graphics Using the Bird’s Eye View
- The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
- A graphic is displayed.
- In the Bird's Eye view, move the cursor over the section that is highlighted with a black frame.
- Move the frame while pressing and holding down the mouse button.
- The now selected section appears in the Graphics view.
Navigating Within Graphics Using Navigation Points
You can use navigation points to navigate across a number of graphics or graphic sections.
- Navigation points have been configured.
- Open a graphic with navigation points.
- Click the navigation point to open the linked graphic.
- The graphic section appears.
- If you navigate to a graphic section that is not already opened, a new Graphics view appears.
Selecting and Deselecting Objects in Graphics
- The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
- A graphic is displayed.
- To select an individual object, click it.
- The selected object is framed by a colored rectangle.
- In case of overlapping objects, the text label of the selected objects comes to the foreground.
- To select several objects, simultaneously press Ctrl and click several objects.
- To select objects within a self-defined frame, complete the following steps:
- In the toolbar, click the following symbol:
- Move the cursor over the graphic.
- The cursor is shaped like a cross.
- With the mouse button pressed down, sketch a rectangle.
- Release the mouse.
- All elements within the rectangle are selected.
- To deselect an object, click the object while holding Ctrl.
Zooming Graphics
You have several options to zoom within graphics.
- The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
- A graphic is displayed.
- To zoom with the mouse, use the mouse wheel.
- To zoom a self-defined section, complete the following steps:
- In the toolbar, click the following symbol:
- Move the cursor over the graphic.
- The cursor is shaped like a cross.
- With the mouse button pressed down, sketch a rectangle.
- Release the mouse.
- The section within the rectangle is zoomed in.
- To return to the last zoom step, click the following symbol:
- To reset and center the graphic, click the following symbol:
- To select a scale, click the drop-down list in the scale field.
- To select a map section, click the drop-down list in the section field.
Maximizing Graphics and Sequence Views
You can maximize Graphic and Sequence views.
- The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
- Double-click the header of either the Graphics view or Sequence view.
- The view is maximized.
- To return to the original size, double-click the header again.
