Siveillance Control saves all system and user operations in the Operator Log. You can display the corresponding entries for events in the event log. Operator Log entries display all logged system processes.

Displaying Operator Logs in the Rate Message Window

The Operator Log tab in the Rate Message Window displays all operator log entries concerning the displayed event.

  • The Events/Messages perspective is displayed.
  • The Event List view is displayed.
  1. Double-click an event.
  1. In the Rate Message window, select the Operator Log tab.
  • The logbook entries associated with the event appear.

Adding Manual Operator Log Entries to the Event Log

  • The Events/Messages perspective is displayed.
  • The Event List view is displayed.
  1. Double-click an event.
  1. In the Rate Message window, select the Operator Log tab.
  1. In the Manual entry field, enter your text.
  1. To cancel entering the comment, press Esc.
  1. To save the entry, press Enter or click Save.
  • The comment is transferred to the list of log entries.
  • Saved comments cannot be deleted.

Creating Manual Operator Log Entries

In the Operator Log perspective, the Operator Log view containing all automatically logged system processes is displayed. However, you can add manual entries, too.

  • The Operator Log perspective is displayed.
  1. In the Manual Entry field, enter a text.
  1. To remove the entered text, press Esc.
  1. To save the entered text, click Save or press Enter.
  • The entry appears in the Operator Log.

Exporting Operator Logs

You can export the operator log as CSV file.

  • The Operator Log perspective is displayed.
  1. Open the drop-down menu and select Export into CSV file.
  1. Enter a directory and target file name, for example D:/2019-07-31__07-59-56.csv.
  1. Click Finish.
  • The Operator Log is exported.
  • The Operator Log export file appears in the selected directory.
