In Siveillance Control OPSs for messages and events are offered. For example, when an event is started, a pre-configured workflow is determined based on the selected keywords and escalation level as well as event location. This workflow defines various operation procedure steps to be performed.
Starting Operation Procedure Steps
- The Rate Message window is displayed.
- Click the Operation Procedure Steps tab.
- Perform the first operation procedure step.
- Double-click the operation procedure step after processing it.
- The operation procedure step is ticked off.
- The operation procedure step is finished.
- Repeat this step for the remaining operation procedure steps.
- The lifecycle state changes to Finished successfully.
Processing Faulty Operation Procedure Steps
Sometimes, an error message appears after starting an operation procedure step. You can nonetheless start faulty operation procedure steps.
- Double-click the faulty operation procedure step to start it.
- If an operation procedure step is permanently faulty, right-click it and select Override state.
- The status of the operation procedure step changes to performed successfully.
- The continuation of the workflow is forced.
Cancelling Operation Procedure Steps of the Type Time Delay
- The Rate Message window is displayed.
- Click the Operation Procedure Steps tab.
- Right-click the operation procedure step you want to cancel and select Cancel.
- The operation procedure step is set to the status skipped.
- The following operation procedure steps can be performed immediately.
- The action appears in the event log to have a control option in case of side effects.
