Graphic Layers

All graphics displayed consist of several graphic layers. These layers contain different information. Layers can be activated or deactivated independently of one another in the Layer view. Usually, detectors are arranged in a lower-level layer in accordance with their discipline.

Finding Layers

The layers contained within are largely labeled uniquely so that the required layers can be found intuitively.

  • The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
  • A graphic is displayed.
  1. Open the Layers view.
  1. To display all areas assigned to a layer, select Layers > Building > Floor Plan.
  1. To display all detectors arranged in a lower-level layer in accordance with their discipline, select Layers > Automation > Total Building Solutions.

Activating and Deactivating Layers

You can activate and deactivate each layer with a check box.

  • The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
  • A graphic is displayed.
  1. Open the Layer view.
  1. To activate a layer, click a check box without a check mark.
  • The contents of the layer appear in the graphic.
  • To deactivate a layer, click a check box with a check mark.
  • The contents of the layer disappear from the graphic.

Managing Layer Settings

You can save and load the layers with which you want a graphic to be displayed.

  • The Single, +3 or +5 perspective is displayed.
  • A graphic is displayed.
  1. Select the layers you want to be displayed in the graphic.
  1. Right-click in the Layers view and select Set selected layers as default.
  1. To load the default layers, right-click in the Layers view and select Load default layers.
