The Location Tree displays the hierarchical structure of the building being monitored.
The Location Tree can contain areas with the following elements:
- Zones
- Groups
- TBS objects
- Virtual general detectors
You have the following options:
- Perform commands on detectors
- Create events
- Add elements of the location tree to events
- Simulate messages
Area Types
The locality is predefined by default on the basis of area types. The system does not check the area's layer in the Location Tree for the area types. The assignment of area types to location fields in the Rate Message window is defined by the system. The area type can be assigned independently of the layer depth of the area in the Location Tree. Make sure when assigning the area types that the mapping of the site structure is logical. You can use the layer specifications in the table for guidance:
