Creating a new partition

  • You are on the Data Setup landing page.
  • You are a member of the Customer Administrator or Partition Administrator user group.
  1. Select Create partition.
  • The Create partition view displays.
  1. Select Create new.
  1. Complete the fields as follows:
  • In the Partition field, enter the name of the new partition.
  • Select a subscription from the Subscription name dropdown list.
  • Select the required user groups.
  1. Select Save to confirm.
  • A new partition is created.

Creating a new partition with the settings from existing partition

  • You are on the Data Setup landing page.
  • You are a member of the Customer Administrator or Partition Administrator user group.
  1. Select Create partition.
  • The Create partition view displays.
  1. Select Take over settings from existing partition.
  1. Complete the fields as follows:
  • Select the correct partition from the Select partition dropdown list.
  • In the Partition field, enter the name of the new partition.
  • Select a subscription from the Subscription name dropdown list.
  • Select the required user groups.
  1. Select Save to confirm.
  • A new partition is created.
