The Table displays the total number of entities within your company and their details. The following entity types can be viewed:

  • Floors
  • Rooms
  • Equipment
  • Data points

Depending on the selected type, different functions are available.

Column settings

In Column settings dialog, you can customize the view of the Table.

The following columns are available:

Floors:

  • Name: Displays the name of the floor.
  • ID: Displays the ID of the floor.
  • Level: Displays the level where the floor is located.
  • Location: Displays the location of the floor.

Rooms:

  • Name: Displays the name of the floor.
  • ID: Displays the ID of the room.
  • Location: Displays the location of the room.

Equipment:

  • Name: Displays the name of the equipment.
  • ID: Displays the ID of the equipment.
  • Status: Displays the status of the equipment - Draft or Published.
  • Discipline: Displays the discipline of the equipment.
  • Type: Displays the type of the equipment.
  • Subtype: Displays the subtype of the equipment.
  • Installation date: Displays the date the equipment was installed.
  • Model: Displays the model of the equipment.
  • Serial number: Displays the serial number of the equipment.
  • Year of manufacture: Displays the year the equipment was manufactured.
  • Manufacturer: Displays the name of the manufacturer of the equipment.
  • Comment: Displays any additional comments.
  • Location: Displays the location of the equipment.
  • Controlled by: Displays the Controls / Controlled by relationship between the device and the equipment. Equipment is controlled by the device if the device uses device, non-virtual data point.
  • Data points assigned: Displays the number of assigned and active data points.
  • Part of: Displays a free, user defined relationship where the Part of equipment belongs to the Parts equipment.
  • Parts: Displays a free, user defined relationship where the Part of equipment belongs to the Parts equipment.
  • Supplies: Displays a free, user defined relationship where the Supplied equipment belongs to the Supplied by equipment.
  • Supplies: Displays a free, user defined relationship where the Supplied equipment belongs to the Supplied by equipment.

Data points

  • Device: Displays the name of the device that the data point is assigned to.
  • Name: Displays the name of the data point.
  • ID: Displays the ID of the data point.
  • Description: Displays the description of the data point.
  • Assigned to: Displays the list of the equipment that the data point is assigned to.
  • Gateway name: Displays the name of the gateway that the data point is connected to.
  • Status: Displays status of the data point - Active or Inactive.
  • Type: Displays the type of the data point.
  • Last Value: Displays the last value of the data point.
  • Function: Displays the function of the data point.
  • Source: Displays the information if the data point is device data point or virtual data point.
  • Unit: Displays the unit of the data point.
  • Access: Displays the type of the access to the data point.
  • Tags: Displays the list of tags that the data point is tagged with.

Data points

This section describes the table view for the Data points type.

  1. Search: Filter the table to only display data points based on their detail attributes.
  2. Table: Displays all available data points.
  3. Edit: Edit the selected data points.
  4. Delete: Delete the selected data points.
  5. Change status: Changes the status of the selected data points.
  6. Edit tags: Opens dialog to edit tags for single or multiple data points. See Tagging data points.
  7. Options: Assigns selected data points to the new or existing equipment.
  8. Column settings: Opens dialog to change which details you want to view in the table.
  9. Group by: Displays data point list via selected view mode.
  10. Type: Select the type of entities that are displayed in the table.

Locations and equipment

This section describes the common buttons for the Floors, Rooms and Equipment entity types.

  1. Edit: Edit the selected entities of the same type.
  2. + Create: Create multiple entities of the same type.
  3. Delete: Delete the selected entities of the same type.
