Unit Layer - User Guide

The Unit Layer contains drawings that define the actual geometries on the floorplan. The Unit Layer geometries are, for example, floors or rooms. During the DWG processing, these geometries are converted to the GeoJSON format.

During DWG processing the following is checked:

• If the Exterior Layer is present and the Unit Layer is not present, the processing completes and no geometry is processed and converted.
• If the Unit Layer name is not provided, "UNITS" is considered as the default layer name.
• If the DWG file does not contain the 'UNITS' layer, the processing completes and no geometry is processed.
