Assigning data points to equipment

From the piece of equipment

You have added a device with existing data points.

You have created a piece of equipment.

You are on the Hierarchy tab.

In the tree structure, select the piece of equipment.

Go to Relationships.

Select  Add data points.

Select the Edge gateway your device is linked to.

Select the Device your data point is connected to.

Select the Data points that belong to your piece of equipment

Select Assign.

From the device

You have added a device with existing data points.

You are on the Hierarchy tab.

In the tree structure, select a device with existing data points.

Go to Data points connected to this device.

Select the data points you want to assign.

Choose one of the following options:

Select More > Create piece of equipment. See Creating pieces of equipment.

Select More > Add to piece of equipment. Choose the piece of equipment and select Add.

Select Save.
