- You have onboarded a device in the same location.
- Go to Hierarchy > Structure.
- Select a building, floor or room.
- Select More or Create and choose Piece of equipment.
- The New Equipment card displays.
The Functional details card displays after selecting the Meter equipment type and with the Energy Manager subscription. In that case, follow the instructions in Configuring functional details.
- Enter a Name and select the Discipline.
- Depending on the selected Discipline and Type, the available fields are different.
- Complete the available fields as required.
- Select Save.
For the piece of equipment to work, Relationships have to be added. See Creating relationships.
