Transmit a manual announcement / Trigger an evacuation with a manual announcement
- Talk button configured as switch
- Select a zone or several zones by pressing the relevant labeled buttons.
- Selected zone buttons light up.
- Press the relevant labeled talk button for the manual announcement.
- The microphone is activated.
- Talk into the microphone at a normal sound level.
- Active announcements and background music are deactivated in the selected zones.
- A manual announcement is made in the selected zones.
- Press the relevant labeled talk button to stop the manual announcement.
- The microphone is deactivated.
- Press the selected zone buttons again.
- The button lighting turns off.

- Press and hold the relevant labeled talk button for the manual announcement.
- The microphone is activated.

Play a recorded announcement / Trigger an evacuation with a recorded announcement
- Select a zone or several zones by pressing the relevant labeled buttons.
- Selected zone buttons light up.
- Press a button labeled with the required announcement.
- Active announcements are deactivated in the selected zones.
- With the corresponding configuration, the announcement is also emitted via the integrated speaker.
- The announcement is continually repeated.
- Press the button with the required announcement again to end the announcement.
- Press the selected zone buttons again.
- The button lighting turns off.
Record an announcement
- Press and hold the relevant labeled button to start the recording.
- The microphone is activated.
- Talk into the microphone at a normal sound level.
- The announcement is recorded in the component's internal memory.
- Release the relevant labeled button to stop the recording
Play back and listen to a recorded announcement
- Press the relevant labeled button.
- The recorded announcement is played back on the internal speaker.
Delete recorded announcements
- A new recording deletes the previous recorded announcement. Only one recorded announcement is possible.
Or
- Disconnect the call station from the power supply.
- Recorded voice messages are deleted from the component's internal memory.
Reset a fault message
- LED 'FAULT' lights up.
- Press the button labeled <RESET>.
- LED 'FAULT' turns off.
- The fault in the system has been rectified.
- The fault message is reset.
Recur fault messages
- The LED 'FAULT' lights up again.
- The fault in the system has not been rectified.
- Inform Siemens customer support.
- Request that maintenance be carried out by technical personnel.
