A component zone (hub) in the Cerberus PACE Compact system consists of an Ethernet switch and the connected network participants: digital audio matrix board and network call station.

Up to 1350 network participants can be combined via Ethernet switches to form a large network.

A maximum of 16 speaker lines or 8 loops can be connected to the digital audio matrix board. A maximum of 80 isolating elements LI can be connected per power amplifier and loop.

Each speaker line can be connected to one or several addressable monitoring modules EOL as standard. A maximum of 64 EOL can be connected to a digital audio matrix board. A maximum of 16 EOL can be connected per power amplifier, distributed across a speaker line with 16 branches or across 16 separate speaker lines, or in any combination.

Alternatives to the monitoring module EOL for monitoring the speaker lines:

  • Impedance monitoring
  • 'Loop isolators' LI

The number of elements on a speaker line is restricted by the sum of their power values. These values can correspond to the power value of the amplifier PV100x at most.

  • Voice alarm panel Compact 400: Power amplifier (1x200W) PV1001-A1
  • Voice alarm panel Compact 1000: Power amplifier (1x500W) PV1002-A1
