The 'PACE-Net' network transmits digital control and digital audio data.
Each digital audio matrix has two Ethernet ports for a redundant connection to the network.
Digital audio matrices cannot be directly interconnected via the Ethernet ports. Ethernet switches are always required.
Extremely small systems without a network call station but with only one digital audio matrix do not require an Ethernet switch. To configure this digital audio matrix, a PC can be connected directly to the digital audio matrix Ethernet port without an Ethernet switch.
