The PT2008-A1 can be connected to a digital audio matrix board PC1001-A3, PC1002-A3 or to a digital audio matrix PC2001-A1, PC2003-A1 or PC2005-A1 and is not compatible with PC2002-A1 or PC2006-A1.
The copper Ethernet cable (CAT5) is used for the connection to the digital audio matrix via the supplied desk call station interface, maximum length 150 m.
The PT2008-A1 communicates with the digital audio matrix via logic control inputs.
The PT2008-A1 analog audio connects to the audio matrix only at the analog audio input 'IN1'. All connected call stations work in parallel on the same audio channel. Only one of the connected call stations can be active at the same time.
If a call station PT2008-A1, PT2003-A1 or PT2009-A1 is connected to a digital audio matrix with an integrated micro SD card, the call station and the micro SD card announcement have the same signal priority.
The PT2008-A1 cannot be connected to the same digital audio matrix as PT2003-A1 or PT2009-A1.
Only one PT2008-A1 can be connected per desk call station interface and digital audio matrix.
