The figure above displays an example of daisy chain wiring of multiple PT2009-A1 being connected to one cabinet. This wiring can only be utilized in standard use cases and is not permitted in evacuation use cases.

Any fault in the wiring between the PTO2008-A1 (6) and the first PT2009-A1 (2) affects all three connected PT2009-A1.

The three connected PT2009-A1 share one analog audio input channel. Therefore, only one PT2009-A1 can be active at the same time.

PCA2011-A1 and PCA2018-A1 (3) provide isolated DC 24 V. A short circuit outside of the cabinet has no impact on the signals in the cabinet.

The PCA2001-A1 (4) detects a ground fault on the 24 V wiring to PT2009-A1.

The PNA2009-A1 (5) provides an isolated 'PACE-Bus' (RS485). A short circuit outside of the cabinet has no impact on the communication in the cabinet.

The 24 V power supply, the 'PACE-Bus' (RS485) and the analog audio signal are connected to PTO2008-A1.

A fuse on the PTO2008-A1 protects the internal 24 V power supply.

The PTO2008-A1 provides an RJ45 connector for all the signals, facilitating the wiring of the PT2009-A1.

Standard copper Ethernet cables (CAT5) with RJ45 connectors are used for the wiring (8), connecting PTO2008-A1 to the first PT2009-A1, and the wiring (9), connecting one PT2009-A1 to the next.
