Cerberus PACE Compact is a network-based public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) system that complies with the requirements of EN 54‑16 and allows for a decentralized and redundant system structure. It is an important feature of the system that the critical risks of single point of failure vulnerabilities are eliminated.

A typical Cerberus PACE Compact system is comprised of Cerberus PACE Compact voice alarm panels, operating terminals, and call stations. The voice alarm panels contain an audio matrix and power amplifiers. They can be extended with system operating and call station equipment.

Ethernet switches are used to link these components to a network via copper or fiber-optic cables.

Cerberus PACE Compact systems are configured in real-time using the 'PACE-Design' system software.

An EN 54‑4-certified power supply guarantees uninterrupted operation and high system availability.

WARNING

The 'Cerberus PACE Compact' system is a Class A product. Operation of this equipment in a residential environment could cause radio interference. If so, the user must be required to take adequate measures.

WARNING
Failure of external devices to comply with the permitted EMC classes

Personal injury and damage to property in an emergency due to a fault with the system and complete failure of the alarm.

  1. Check the categorization of external devices in the same room or building that may have an impact on the 'Cerberus PACE Compact' system, following DIN EN 55032, section 4, 'Classification of equipment'.

The Ethernet is networked with copper and fiber-optic cables.
