In the app, the default “Auto” mode can be changed to “Heat” or “Cool ”, or “Off” completely. For more information about switching between heating and cooling, see Operating modes overview.
Change the default “Auto” mode
- On any of the widget screen, tap
, and expand the drop down list next to “Thermostat mode”.
- Select “Heat”, “Cool ”, “Off” or Auto.
