Order Device Manager for Desigo Optic

Complete registration for Device Manager. You will receive a registration email. Accept the invitation, and follow the steps accordingly.
Access Edge2Cloud.
Contact global product manager Jamie Lee at jamie.lee@siemens.com with the RC’s name and address, as well as the administrator’s name, email, and phone number.
The administrator listed will receive a registration email from noreply@j2inn.com. Follow the instructions.
Make note of your temporary login credentials and follow the link to complete registration.
You can access Edge2Cloud.
Download License
Log into Desigo Optic, entering default credentials Username: su Password: su.
Review and accept the end user agreement.
You will see a popup notification that your device lacks a license. Select OK.
Once redirected to Licenses, select Host Info.
Copy the Host ID.
Go to Edge2Cloud > Licenses. Navigate to your license and select Edit.
Delete dash in field and paste host ID.
Select Save.
Select Download to download the license to the host computer you are logged into. Note: once downloaded, the host ID cannot be changed. If a change is needed, please contact field support.
Go to the Licenses page of your project in Desigo Optic.
Select Install.
Locate, select, and open your license from the Downloads folder.
Your license has now downloaded. A “Success” message will prompt you to restart your device.
Reboot your device.
If remote, go to Horizon Cloud > Devices > Sites. From there, select the site containing your device and then select your device. Finally, navigate to the Information tab and select Reboot.
Wait until the status indicates the device is back online.
Go to the Services tab and wait for all five services to resume: Application Cloud Gateway, Cloud Gateway Logs, Desigo Optic, Gateway Monitoring, and Local Gateway Logs.
When all the services are running and check marked, remotely access Optic with your temporary credentials.
Reset your password.
Enter the default credentials again. Follow the prompt to set a new password (your username will remain the same). By default, Desigo Optic will prompt you to choose a strong password with a sequence of 10 upper and lower characters, including a number and a special character.
Select Save.
Your device is now set up. You may create a new project and begin using Desigo Optic.
