• A root cause is available
  1. In the Alarm Dashboard application, from the Views pane, select Root cause .
  • The Root cause view displays.
  1. Select existing root cause.
  1. Select .
  1. Select Edit.
  • The Add new root cause and recommended actions dialog box opens with version 1.
  1. Enter an additional instruction in the Recommended actions field.
  1. Select +.
  1. Select check box New version.

If selected and saved, the New version box displays the latest root causes version in the event of an alarm. Previous versions are retained and linked to the alarms in progress.

  1. Select Save.
  • Root cause version 2 is saved.
