Create root cause recommendations- In the Alarm Dashboard application, from the Views pane, select Root cause .
- Select Add.
- Enter a meaningful description in the Root cause description field.
The name is used in Rule Editor as the root cause for property Root cause.
INFO: Correctly define the priority and acknowledge type for each AlarmOutput node in Rule Editor.
- Enter a root cause in the Root cause label field.
- Enter the first instruction in the Recommended actions field.
- Select .
- Enter an additional instruction in the Recommended actions field.
- Select .
INFO: The cause can only be saved when completed with + (empty entry).
- Select Save.
- Root cause version 1 is saved and can be used in Rule Editor.
