In the Alarm Dashboard application, from the Views pane, select Root cause.
The Root cause view displays.
Select Add.
The Add new root cause and recommended actions dialog box opens.
Enter a meaningful description in the Root cause description field. The name is used in Rule Editor as the root cause for property Root cause. INFO: Correctly define the priority and acknowledge type for each AlarmOutput node in Rule Editor.
Enter a root cause in the Root cause label field.
Enter the first instruction in the Recommended actions field.
Select .
Enter an additional instruction in the Recommended actions field.
Select . INFO: The cause can only be saved when completed with + (empty entry).
Select Save.
Root cause version 1 is saved and can be used in Rule Editor.
