The following describes how to handle an alarm, from occurrence in the plant overview, to detailed analysis on the plant device.
- You are logged on to the portal and have opened the plant overview.
- On one plant, an error is displayed with the red alarm symbol.
- Click the red alarm symbol

- The "Alarms" menu opens a detail view of the plant.
"Active alarms" lists pending errors with time stamp and error text.
- Write down or remember the timestamp.
- Consult the "Alarm history" to estimate the times and frequency of faults.
- In secondary navigation, go to "Web access".
- Click the red alarm zone in the top right on the web interface.
- The most serious error is displayed on each device.
- Compare the timestamp from the portal and the web interface (column "Fault info") to ensure that you are researching the same fault.
- Click the red eye symbol on the far left of the error line.
- You go to the device causing the error.
- Eliminate the error if possible over remote access.
